SRC stands for Student Representative Council.
It is a body of students within a school that consists of elected student representatives from different year levels or classes. The primary purpose of the SRC is to represent the student body and act as a liaison between students and school administration or staff.
It is a democratic body composed of students elected by their peers to represent the student body in school affairs and decision-making processes.
The purpose of an SRC is to provide students with a platform to voice their opinions, advocate for their needs, and contribute to the improvement of their school community. Members of the SRC often work closely with school administration and initiate projects that benefit the student body and the school as a whole.
The SRC plays a vital role in promoting student engagement, leadership, and empowerment within the school environment.
SRC 2024
All classes from Years 1 to 6 voted on a student to represent the voice of their class. SRC members will meet regularly with our school leaders to share their ideas from students in ways in which we can improve our school. The SRC members will work through different ideas and lead the action of these.
Congratulations to the following SRC members who were awarded their SRC badge at the Assembly last Tuesday.
