Prep Transition

We provide a warm and comprehensive transition program to support our new Foundation students as they prepare to start school for the first time!

Getting to know our newest students as early as possible is a priority. Our Foundation teachers visit local kindergartens to connect with Kindergarten staff and begin building positive relationships with the children who will be joining Clayton North Primary School the following year.

Through our onsite transition sessions, children have opportunities to visit our school, spend time in the Foundation classrooms and become familiar with their new teachers, classmates and school environment.

These fun and engaging experiences help children build friendships, develop confidence and establish a strong sense of belonging as they prepare for their exciting first day of school!
