Respectful Relationships

Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

We pride ourselves on a whole school focus on our school values of respect, responsibility and resilience. Respectful Relationships education is a fundamental aspect of the Victorian Curriculum spanning from foundation to year 12, aiming to instil a culture of respect and equality within schools. The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) learning materials provide teachers with resources to cultivate students’ social, emotional, and relational skills across primary and secondary levels. These efforts have demonstrated benefits in enhancing health outcomes, subjective well-being, and mitigating antisocial behaviours, including gender-related violence. The RRRR curriculum encompasses eight key topics of Social and Emotional Learning, addressing Emotional Literacy, Personal strengths, Positive Coping, Problem Solving, Stress Management, Help Seeking, Gender and Identity, and Positive Gender Relationships throughout all educational stages.
